The Inside Sales Specialist will be trained to have a solid understanding of the commercial and technical side of our business and work closely with customers, partners and manufacturers. One of the main responsibilities of the Inside Sales Specialist is to provide exceptional client service and help drive sales for his/her territory. The Inside Sales Specialist regularly connects with customers and partners primarily via calls and emails. Responsibilities:

What your day will look like:
• Reach out to new and existing customers with the objective of increasing sales
• Give customers demos on Genetec products
• Design solutions and prepare quotes based on clients needs
• Support field representatives and customers with all pre-sales functions
• Work closely with suppliers and various departments for special pricing opportunities
• Ensure frequent communication with field representatives
• Research technical information on product requests
• Update customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking by senior management
• Remote role where candidate must be set up to work remotely from home

Requirements:

About you:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Preferred)
• Interest in Technology
• Highly coachable with a strong desire to acquire new skills and knowledge
• B2B sales experience
• Overall understanding of technology and the ability to describe technical concepts at high levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Goal oriented, self-starter, able to work independently, but within a team environment
• Ability to present information clearly and concisely
• Attention to detail and process oriented
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Require a passport and the ability to occasionally travel in Canada and the US

Assets:

• Experience in the security industry
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience
• French, and/or additional languages
