Who are we?

Genetec’s core UI team is growing and we are currently looking for a Mobile Developer! We need a motivated, passionate and resourceful person who is not afraid of a challenge. We are responsible for the UI (not just buttons and colors) of an enterprise level software system with millions of lines of code and a mobile application used worldwide that is in constant evolution.

What kind of a challenge are we talking about?

• Development of a mobile platform for iOS and Android phones using Xamarin.
• Development of the backend for the mobile platform in C#.
• Full partnership in the product development lifecycle including user experience, design, development and maintenance.
• Put your strong understanding of object oriented programming to use to design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Someone who is motivated by a fast-paced, changing environment and enjoys the challenge of new and unfamiliar tasks.
• Someone who works well in teams and thrives on collaboration.
• Good understanding of SOLID principle and TDD.

Technical Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of programming in C#.
• Experience with Visual Studio and basic concepts of software development (version management, code analysis, unit testing).
• Mobile development experience.
