As a member of Digital Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely with key stakeholders across Genetec’s Marketing teams to support our website, email marketing and demand generation activities.

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will help support our web properties and demand generation activities that help increase our brand’s online presence. Your responsiblities will cover the spectrum of digital marketing: new web page creation, link maintenance, email marketing, lead entry and management and more. Over time, and based on experience, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to other aspects of digital marketing such as lead nurturing and scoring, link building, SEO, website traffic analysis, and beyond.

You are someone who is looking to become a digital marketing expert and eager to work with the latest digital tools such as the Marketo Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) and Bloomreach brXM Content Management System (CMS) to name a few. You are naturally curious and always looking to learn new things, but you truly enjoy working with the latest digital platforms. Your default approach is to collaborate with others, and you’re always looking to help your colleagues and learn from them.

Responsibilities:

What your day will look like:
• Manage external requests for new emails and web pages through the Wrike work management platform.
• Update existing web pages, or creating new ones, with content provided by the product, industry and content marketing teams.
• Generate landing pages for our online campaigns.
• Create emails for various demand generation activities driven through Marketo, such as the delivery of announcements and client communications to support product launches and more.
• Help colleagues in Channel Marketing optimize the layout, content and delivery of newsletter.
• Build and schedule Marketo campaigns for the delivery of batch, trigger and nurturing emails
• Adjust and tweak various web page, newsletter and email templates to optimize theaudience experience.
• Help with the management of leads and data quality in the CRM and Marketo.
• Coordinate translations of web content into other languages through CMS workflows.
• Help optimize landing pages for search engine marketing (SEM) metrics and recommendations provided by our Digital Strategy team.
• Help implement our link building strategy, as well as clean up broken links.
• Provide input for various digital marketing status reports (website and web page activity, online traffic, etc.).

Requirements:

About you:
• University degree in marketing, or equivalent education and practical experience.
• 1 to 2+ years of hands-on experience with a web CMS (Bloomreach, Adobe, WordPress, or equivalent).
• 1 to 2+ years of hands-on email marketing experience with a marketing automation platform (eg. Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot or equivalent) or email marketing platform (eg. mailchimp, campaign monitor, sendgrid or equivalent).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent, eg. Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.
• Good understanding of email marketing and web page management, including best practices and HTML, HTML5, CSS or better.
• Excellent project management and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail and a keen interest in technology
• Good written & verbal communications (English and French).

Assets:

• Marketo Certification
• Understanding and hands-on experience in
• A/B testing for both email campaigns and web pages.
• SEO tagging and web page optimization for search engine performance
• Understanding or hands-on experience in lead management lifecycle, nurturing and scoring.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, the marketing funnel, and campaign management.
• Managed a web site or served as an website administrator.
• Hands-on experience in creating a new website, eg. you stood up your own personal website.
• Tracked and/or analyzed website analytics and used visualization tools.
• Worked with external agencies & freelancers.
• Hands-on experience with any of these specific tools
